About Us

On Memorial Day in 2010 we lost our beloved 20-year old son, Aaron, in a tragic car accident. Faced with multiple decisions at a time of extreme emotional upheaval, we stumbled our way into a fitting memorial service and interment for our son. Some providers we worked with were genuine and caring, while others we met were merely going through the motions and doing a job. All of the decisions we were faced with were difficult and we felt very overwhelmed and vulnerable.

Not long after that, we began to talk about how we might be able to ease other peoples’ journeys by helping out during a difficult time that we all eventually face—either with the loss of a loved one or when making our own end of life plans. Our love of the land and this area led us to purchase an existing cemetery in eastern Cabarrus County near our family farm.

It is our intention to not only nurture these beautiful grounds, but also to care for the legacy of the souls resting here in our care.

We value all the families and individuals who have already entrusted us with this responsibility, and we would be honored to work with you should you choose Cabarrus Memorial Gardens as a final resting place for yourself and your loved ones.
